Pupcake Day is a day in which the SRC will be baking and selling many different varieties of cupcakes to help raise funds for the RSPCA's neglected and abondoned pups and kittens, rabbits, horses, birds, sheep, guinea pigs – you name it, they save it! All proceeds raised will go to our state-based RSPCA to help continue the fight to make animal cruelty a thing of the past.

amazing $519.30 for the RSPCA to help put an end to animal cruelty!
The humble cupcake has been a remarkably effective tool in fighting animal cruelty. Since its inception in 2007, Cupcake Day for the RSPCA has raised over $6.5M. All proceeds go back into their services to help stop cruelty.
THE POWER OF THE CUPCAKE:
1 cupcake=$2 donation

2 cupcakes=an enrichment toy to keep a dog happy and engaged

5 cupcakes=litter tray for a kitten or cat to toilet train them

15 cupcakes=vaccinates a puppy against the deadly parvo virus

50 cupcakes=desexes cat or dog so it can be rehomed with a forever family

150 cupcakes=subsidies the costs of prosecuting a cruelty offender
ABOUT THE RSPCA:
The RSPCA (The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) is the voice for the animals of Australia. They defend their dignity and fight to stop cruelty. They offer shelter, education, medical attention and love. They are animal protectors, carers and guardians, that bring solace to the abandoned, surrendered and injured. They prosecute those who would harm them.
