Multicultural Week
29th August - 2nd September
On behalf of SRC, we'd like to thank everyone for making Multicultural Week 2016 sucessful.
Below is a brief summary of the fantastic events that took place that week.
Events
Multicultural Positivitree
29 August
On Monday, the Positivitree was decorated with flags of all the cultures in our school! These flags stayed the whole week and students were able to guess the country of each flag.
Miss Multicultural Pageant
30 August
On Tuesday, 30th of August, cultural dresses were displayed by students showcasing diversity in our school! The Miss Multicultural pageant was held at lunch, where a student/s from each culture walked down the ramp, showing off their wonderful cultural dress.
Food & Cultural Stalls
1 September
On Thursday, 1st of September, a variety of food stalls were held at lunch, full of food from different cultures! We had a variety of delicious food some including Filipino ice cones, lamingtons, Lebanese bread wraps and fried rice. Cultural stalls were also set up around the quad including origami, thong throwing and henna.
Finale Concert
2 September
The most awaited event of the week finally came after weeks of rain. The Finale Concert! Cultural performances from all over the world were showcased on this wonderful afternoon. For photos please check the gallery :)
