Everyday, 34 Australians will be diagnosed with leukemia, lymphoma or myeloma and the Leukaemia foundation provides the assistance they require.

 

 

 

 

 

This year, the the World’s Greatest Shave is an event the SRC wishes to host to raise awareness of and respect for  those suffering from cancer.

 

 

Come join us in the Hall on Thursday the 17th of March, Week 8 to support Mickaylla (Year 9), Helen (Year 11) and Ms. Eager (ENG) as they shave their heads. Please remember that there is a gold coin entry fee for those who wish to come. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You can also show your support by getting involved in our Mufti Day on Friday the 18th of March, Week 8 bringing a gold coin donataion. Other activities like hairspray and face glitter for $1. This will be taking place at the SRC stall near the home section throughout recess and lunch.

All of the money raised from this event will be given to the Leukaemia foundation to fund their research and support of cancer patients.

 

Throughout the week, there will be donation tins in the office where you can make a contribution to the Leukaemia Foundation.
